Who should buy the Oboz Bridger Low BDry
Those who need a pair for hikes may find what they’re looking for in the Oboz Bridger Low BDry. It is a solid option if you:
- Prefer a low-cut shoe designed with support features that can handle rugged terrain.
- Prefer a shoe that has comfortable cushioning for a comfy ride.
Secure footing on wet and dry surfaces
Slip prevention and traction on most types of surfaces are handled by the Oboz Bridger Low BDry’s Granite Peak outsole. It has a series of 4mm-deep lugs to give the user a secure footing on wet and dry surfaces.
Excellent grip
There are aggressive lugs on the side for added grip on challenging terrain. Also, the outsole extends toward the toe section to provide protection against stubbing.
Supportive cushioning
The Oboz Bridger Low BDry features a Granite Peak dual-density EVA midsole which provides supportive cushioning. A nylon shank is placed in the midfoot area for extra support and rigidity. Torsional stability is granted by the shoe’s thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) chassis.
Excellent arch support
This low-cut hiker is also equipped with the brand’s patented multi-density O Fit insole. The entire unit has medium-density EVA for underfoot support. The forefoot section contains low-density EVA pods which grant additional cushioning. The heel cup and sculpted arch are made of high-density EVA foam. The former delivers support and enhances natural cushioning, and the latter maintains the neutral position of the foot. The unit is topped with a layer that’s engineered to wick moisture away.
Waterproof and breathable
The Oboz Bridger Low BDry wraps the user’s foot inside a durable nubuck leather and abrasion-resistant textile upper. The upper is both waterproof and breathable, thanks to a BDry membrane lining it. It has a toe cap upfront for added protection while a molded counter is found at the rear to hold the heel in place.
Secure lockdown
The shoe’s lace-up closure uses a series of webbing eyelets. The metal hooks on top lock down the foot. Its collar and tongue are padded to promote comfort.
