Updates to Nike Flex Experience RN 7

  • The Nike Flex Experience RN 7 is a cheap running shoe that’s designed for those who have neutral pronation. It’s also optimized for maximum flexibility when taking each step. A knit material is used for the majority of the upper; the heel part features a loose mesh for improved breathability.
  • In this model, the midsole also serves as the outsole. An injected foam that runs the entire length of the product provides cushioning for the foot, as well as surface traction. Hexagonal grooves and diamond patterns work together to ensure grip. There are rubber nodes in the high-wear areas of the heel and forefoot.

The underfoot platform also serves as the outsole of the Nike Flex Experience RN 7. It’s made out of injected foam. It has small diamond-shaped patterns on the heel and forefoot sections to deliver surface traction.

Hexagon-shaped grooves are positioned intricately on the front and midfoot sections. These small cuts encourage the foot to bend and move as naturally as possible, particularly when transitioning towards the toe-off phase of the gait cycle.

Rubber nodes are added to high-wear areas. These add-ons act as shields against abrasion and the debilitating effects of continued use.

The injected foam supplies cushioning, support, and impact protection to the foot of the runner. It’s designed to resist early breakdown, potentially extending the mileage of the Flex Experience RN 7.

Moreover, as a Nike Flex design, it has a flexible property that further encourages the purpose of its namesake: to deliver a flexible and responsive ride.

Most of the Nike Flex Experience RN 7’s upper unit utilizes a knit material that is lightweight and tightly constructed. It conforms to the movements of the foot, bending in conjunction with the gait. Though it doesn’t have prominent pores, it’s still breathable.

A loose mesh is found in the back section. It gives a soft heel wrap that’s highly breathable due to the presence of ventilation pores.

The collar and tongue and padded. These parts of the shoe hold the foot in place and prevent it from wobbling or exiting the foot-chamber unexpectedly.

A soft lining surrounds the interior. It helps in providing a sock-like fit that’s free from irritation. With this, runners can wear the shoe without using actual socks.

The traditional lacing system locks the foot down and secures the fit. The shoestrings are flat, so they don’t quickly unravel, even when subjected to kinetic activities.

A synthetic sheet is printed onto the forefoot section and the instep. It makes the cover system more durable. It is thin, and it doesn’t add any substantial weight to the product.
