Good to know

The Nike Air Max 270 SE Reflective comes with a cleatie cut construction that gives wearers a snug fit. It has a heel and tongue pull tab for easy entry and removal and a lace system that further secures the foot. The upper material conforms to the foot’s shape and offers flexible and non-restrictive movement.

The Air Max 270’s new look has reflective details with a striking red air unit. The black upper and visually popping red colors of the big air unit creates a beautiful balance in the design. The shoes are best to pair with joggers, track pants, and other streetwear-ready clothing. The casual shoes quickly blend with sporty clothing to achieve the athleisure look.

Most prominent in the design of the Nike Air Max 270 SE Reflective is the big air heel unit at the back that delivers superb cushioning. The black and red colorway also keeps a striking visual on the shoe while the mesh upper assures of lightweight and breathable footwear. The reflective detailing on the shoe is also the most noteworthy feature of this iteration with reflective material placed on the back heel and side panels for greater visibility.

The Nike Air Max 270 was the first Air Max sneaker to be marketed as a casual lifestyle sneaker. While past Air Max sneakers were designed as performance running shoes, the Air Max 270 shoes were more targeted towards the athleisure crowd by retaining its running-inspired aesthetics while experimenting on unique colorways and combinations to keep the silhouette interesting for fashionistas looking for streetwear ready casual shoe.

Originally launched on February 1, 2018, the Nike Air Max 270 model is created to be a casual shoe. It features a large Air Max heel unit, the largest during the time of its release. This was however recently topped by the Nike Air Max 720 which featured an even bigger air heel unit. The design featured an upper with a combination of mesh and synthetic materials. The mesh upper is known to be form-fitting with flex grooves and breathable material. A dual-density foam also compliments the large air heel unit for a more balanced cushioning and comfortable feel. The modern iteration of the Nike Air Max 270 SE Reflective men’s shoes came out in December 2018.

  • Minimalist placement of the Swoosh logo and Air Max 270 logo on the tongue, pull tabs, front and back.
  • Bootie cut design assures a snug fit and form-fitting silhouette.
