Who should not buy the Nike Air Force 1 React

Look past the Nike Air Force 1 React if a shoe that could last for an extended period is what you need. You may want to have a look at the Air Force 1 Low. Also, wearers who are fussy about shoe details may also want to check out a Nike pair that has a stitched Swoosh like the Air Force 1 07 LV8 as the AF React 1 only has its Swoosh printed which they may not find very appealing.

Insanely rich cushioning

Unlike the other Air Force 1 shoes, the React technology in this pair provides insanely good cushioning. Also, an Air-Sole unit heel ramp features responsive cushioning and springy comfort.  In fact, it is considered by the majority of wearers as the most comfortable Air Force 1 ever. Also, several attest that the pillowy-soft footbed makes it great for all-day use while a great number of users can really feel the bounce-back of these Nike shoes.

The Nike AF1 React's airflow supremacy

These kicks are much more breathable than the regular Air Force 1 as claimed by many testers. Thanks to the perforations on the shoe's toe cap.

Tongue could have been of higher quality

It's made of nylon and not leather. Not a bad thing and it's great that it's not stiff nor does it cause skin rubbing. But, some have commented that they wished for a more premium overall feeling.

A worthwhile investment

Plenty of owners are happy with this sneaker by Nike because of its amazing value for money. In fact, a large percentage of them highly recommend this shoe.

Nike Air Force 1 React Outsole

Secure lockdown fit

With its lace-up fastening system, the Nike Air Force 1 React delivers a reassuring fit, and many are all for it.

Lacks durability

Only a handful of people have commented on the durability saying that they saw signs of wear and tear a bit too soon.

Nike Air Force 1 React Style

Transforming one of Nike’s most popular silhouettes, the Nike Air Force React 1 is a combination of the brand’s Nike Air Force 1 style being updated with React technology. Retaining the original silhouette, the mesh and leather upper are slightly revamped with experimental panel shapes and cored-out sections. An oversized printed version of the Swoosh outline with wavy eyestays replaces the original logo, with a ‘D/MS/X’ branding that adds an extra touch of modern branding to the heel area. Replacing the classic bar on the heel is a TPU strip. As for the outsole, Nike React details are incorporated into it, replacing the iconic stars with a wavy React-inspired pattern.

The shoe’s minimal yet unique colorways and design make it easy to style with anything in one’s wardrobe. These kicks are wearable with almost everything, from a pair of jeans and denim to sweatpants and shorts, or even tapered joggers, and topped with plain but stylish shirts or button-downs. Basically, with its unbeatable design and excellent comfort, its style just goes with any outfit and can be a staple all year round.

Nike Air Force 1 React History

In 1964, the world’s leading sports brand Nike was originally named Blue Ribbon Sports by Bill Bowerman, a track-and-field coach at the University of Oregon, and his former student Phil Knight. This teacher-student tandem invested $500 to import Tiger shoes from Japan to sell them in the United States. They then opened their first retail outlet in 1966 and officially became Nike, which was named after the Greek goddess of victory in 1971. A year later, they launched the Nike brand in 1972.

Nike Air Force 1 React History

Nike has various lines within the brand and one of them is DIMSIX. Initially known as one of the original options for re-naming Blue Ribbon Sports, D/MS/X is a play on one of the original choices, which was Phil Knight’s favorite option. The Swoosh brand is now using D/MS/X as a kind of sub-brand that brings new models and new takes on classics.

This lineage has recently dropped another creation earlier this year that is inspired by the 1982’s Air Force 1. The icon’s silhouette has been unchanged until this year when Nike remixed it with the React technology for a more modern update. A must-cop hybrid, the Nike Air Force 1 React, which incorporates incomparable comfort and technology, is one of the better contemporary executions that create a futuristic take on the cult classic.
