Merrell Range AC+ History

Merrell is a trusted shoe manufacturer with a focus on the outdoors. Since the establishment of the company in 1981, the brand has been known for its no-compromise-on-quality stance. A Merrell shoe is one that has been painstakingly manufactured and designed to be durable while providing unceasing comfort to the wearer.

In the 90s, the well-known hiking brand decided to foray into the lifestyle market. It took its expertise in shoemaking and translated it into engineering sturdy footwear. The shoes would take cues from the company’s hiking background but would be designed for the urban landscape.

Merrell’s success in its endeavor started with the release of the Jungle Moc, which to this day is still being produced and still on the brand’s user base’s most favorite list.

After the Jungle Moc came plenty more designs. Lighter shoes geared for the urban dweller but still carrying that unmistakeable Merrell stamp. It seemed the public could not get enough of these as the brand’s constant product output has been met by them enthusiastically.

The newest line to come out from the Merrell lifestyle division is the Range collection which looks to be another winner in terms of public reception. The shoes in this series, such as the Merrell Range Laceless AC+, Merrell Range Slide AC+, Merrell Solo AC+, and Merrell Range AC+, are meant to be used for any adventure you might be on. One shoe to cover all bases. These kicks are made tough and ready to be taken with you on any travel journey you have planned.

One defining feature of the Range AC+ series is the Air Cushioning system that all of the shoes contain. The Air Cushion+ tech provides exceptional heel-to-toe comfort without the heavy weight. And indeed, one often commended characteristic of Range shoes is how light each weighs.
