The Convey Low GTX is a Mammut shoe designed to render comfort and performance for adventurers on a day hiking trip. A Gore-Tex Extended Comfort membrane is integrated into its nubuck leather upper to protect the user’s foot from wet conditions.

This Mammut hiking shoe’s ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) midsole is equipped with the brand’s patented Rolling Concept technology. These components yield cushioning while preventing the ankle from twisting. Its Gripex rubber outsole, meanwhile, grants traction on virtually all types of terrain.

The Mammut Convey Low GTX is a below-the-ankle hiking shoe crafted for men and women. It uses a traditional lacing system, granting wearers with a secure and customized lockdown. It is lined with Memo Foam at the instep, shin, and ankle area to render a comfortable fit.

This shoe for outdoor adventures comes with a Gripex rubber outsole for ground adherence. It employs an arrow-shaped lug pattern, which grips on both wet and dry terrain. Both ends of the sole are furnished with grooves, delivering added control when traversing uphill and downhill conditions. Moreover, its front section covers a small portion of the forefoot area for trail protection.

The men’s and women’s Mammut Convey Low GTX hiking shoe features a midsole made of EVA foam. It is engineered to cushion the user’s stride while reducing shock from rough ground conditions. The brand’s patented Base Cage integrates three support elements made of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU). They function by providing longitudinal arch support while lessening foot fatigue. The shoe’s footbed, meanwhile, delivers added comfort underfoot.

The Mammut Convey Low GTX is equipped with an upper made of nubuck leather while its forefoot region has a rubber cap. These components are engineered to make the shoe durable, abrasion-resistant, and provide protection from trail hazards. It is lined with a Gore-Tex Extended Comfort membrane to shield the wearer’s foot from wet conditions. Its microporous surface is also designed to disperse excess moisture, making this hiking shoe breathable.

The Convey Low GTX is lined with a layer of Memo Foam to create a plush in-shoe environment. It uses a series of fabric loops and a pair of metal eyelets for fit management. It has a pull tab at the tongue to give wearers easy on and off.

- Those who require ankle support and rigidity for multi-day adventures may consider a pair of backpacking boots. One of the options that may be explored is the Salomon Quest 4D 3 GTX.
