Updates to Lowa Strato Evo LL Mid

  • The revamped Strato Evo LL Mid now comes with a modern look that’s ready for a number of adventures. Its improved design resulted in a significant reduction in weight. Still, Lowa crafted it with a full leather upper.
  • The improved DynaPU midsole grants a lightweight and supportive ride. Lowa updated it to be more durable and resistant to constant compression. It is partnered with a nylon shank and Monowrap support frame.
  • From a Vibram Renovo outsole, the Strato Evo LL Mid now features a Lowa-owned outsole, the Hybrid Trac. Its tread profile is optimized for outdoor use.

Size and fit

A men’s day hiking boot, the Lowa Strato Evo LL Mid relatively runs true to size. It is offered in D - standard width and comes in whole and half sizes. The simple lace-up closure helps achieve a snug fit.

To tackle most types of terrain, Lowa Strato Evo LL Mid uses the brand-owned Hybrid Trac. It has aggressive lugs which are able to self-clean, delivering surface traction. The toe and heel area, on the other hand, is designed differently to assist the user when going uphill or downhill.

This mid-cut day hiking boot features the brand’s trademarked DynaPU midsole. It blends durability, cushioning and shock absorption for optimal performance on the trails. The layered construction of the midsole, which involves a double injection molding process, delivers improved cushioning.

Lowa also added a full-length Medium Stabilizer which renders support underfoot. It has a support frame which adds stability.

Constructed with minimal seams, the embossed nubuck leather of the Strato Evo LL Mid renders comfort and protection from the harsh outdoors. Its leather lining is moisture absorbent and has good temperature management. Breathability and comfort are enhanced by the perforations on the ankle area and a padded tongue and collar, respectively.

The lacing hardware uses four sets of D-rings and three open hooks. It makes closure quicker and more straightforward.
