Good to know
-The Lowa Rocket rock climbing shoe is made for climbers who wish to send problems with enhanced precision. As it is designed with breathability in mind, users can expect to climb in it with extra airy comfort. Its slip-lasted construction provides wearers with improved sensitivity.
-Senders can expect to mount on virtually all sorts of surfaces with adequate surefootedness with the Rocket’s Vibram outsole. When this component gets worn out, Lowa (or a qualified cobbler) can replace it with a new one for a fee.
Downturn. The Rocket is part of Lowa’s aggressively downturned climbing shoes. Its pointed toe region allows for precise mounting on edges and tiny projections. Kicks with this level of downturn are ideal for single-pitch climbs.
Applications. This Lowa offering is engineered for sport climbing and boulder-type problems. It favors ascents on vertical faces. Owners may climb in it both indoors and outdoors.
The Rocket from Lowa is a low-cut rock shoe for men. Its partly leather, partly synthetic upper might stretch somewhat with regular use. It has a highly curved or asymmetric interior, which might induce some pressure between the wearer’s heel and forefoot. Users can customize the Rocket's overall fit via the shoe’s Velcro strapping system.
Outsole. The Lowa Rocket comes with a Vibram outsole called XS Edge for surface traction. It has a thickness of 3 millimeters.
The upper of this aggressive rock shoe is made with a combination of leather and microfiber. Getting in and out of its unlined interior is made relatively quick, thanks to its trio of pull loops. All three sections of its lower perimeter (heel, midfoot, and forefoot/toe box) are sufficiently randed to grant the climber additional grip and protection where needed. Its closure system consists of a single strap engineered with hook-and-loop fasteners.
- The Rocket has a lace-up sibling in the Lowa Rocket Lace.
