Updates to KEEN Terradora Waterproof

  • The Terradora from KEEN is made ready to traverse backcountry trails and urban routes. The combination of mesh and synthetic creates a lightweight yet protective upper.
  • Working in synergy underfoot is a dual-density PU footbed and a low-density EVA midsole which render cushioning and shock absorption. The non-marking rubber outsole, on the other hand, grants surface traction.

Size and fit

The KEEN Terradora Waterproof is a low-cut hiker designed for women and is shaped using a gender-specific last. It is available in standard length and width measurements. The brand noted that this model runs narrow. Its conventional lacing system allows fit adjustment.

The outsole of this day hiking shoe is made of a non-marking rubber that suits outdoor and indoor use. Its 4 mm multidirectional lugs give traction on a variety of terrain. Its flex grooves promote the rolling motion of the foot for a more comfortable stride. The KEEN.Protect overlaps the toe rubber rand to protect the foot from rock-strewn trails.

The Terradora Waterproof midsole is made of a low-density EVA. Its flexible structure provides natural underfoot cushioning and shock absorption. Embedded on it is an ESS stability shank which yields a stable platform and firm support.

This low-cut hiking shoe has a lightweight dual-density PU footbed for added comfort. It is treated with Cleansport NXT, an antimicrobial feature that keeps the odor at bay.

Rendering lightweight protection to hikers is the mesh upper of the Terradora Waterproof. It has synthetic overlays which aids in maintaining its structure. The trademarked KEEN.Dry technology prevents water from penetrating while allowing the foot to breathe.

KEEN designers added a pull loop at the heel to facilitate a quicker on and off. Reinforcements are placed at the toe and heel to guard against bumps. Its webbing and grommets are part of the lace-up closure. It has a lace keeper to help keep the tongue in place.
