Size and fit

The K-Swiss Court Frasco is available in men’s and women’s models. Sizing for men ranges from 6.5 to 14 while women’s measurements range from 5 to 11. The shoe features a traditional lace-up system for adjusting the fit.

Generally, women can wear men’s models by going down a size and a half while men who are interested in wearing women’s versions are advised to go up for about the same size to get their perfect fit. Since the Court Frasco reportedly runs large, women who are interested in the men’s silhouette might be better off buying a pair two sizes smaller while men who prefer the women’s edition might be able to get a better fit by just going one size up.

K-Swiss Court Frasco History

The K-Swiss company was established in 1966 to cater to the tennis market. Their first silhouette, the K-Swiss Classic, made its debut that same year in the Wimbledon. For twenty years, the brand banked on the Classic model alone. Due to its superior performance on the court and its stylish profile, the silhouette had become a global staple in country clubs and tennis courts.

In 1986, K-Swiss launched its second silhouette—the Gstaad. New releases had been slow-going but started to gain momentum around the 90s. In 2013, the company’s growth had accelerated so much that the brand was sold in 80 countries across five continents. New silhouettes began cropping up along with collaborations and newer versions of their classic models.

The Court Frasco is a throwback to those court-inspired shoes that propelled the brand to fame. The leather upper brings to mind clean and classic shoes of old while the thick sole gives off a modern vibe.
