Hoka One One Rincon 3: All the fun that you want

While the advanced trainers of today make use of high-end foams, the Rincon 3 from Hoka continues with its signature EVA midsole. And it's not all bad. In fact, it's THE superlative of EVA foams with its bouncy ride.

Like the Endorphin Shift 2 and GlideRide 2, the Rincon 3 makes use of a rocker design. But it's NOT solely depending on it. Instead, it works hand-in-hand with the highly responsive midsole to make strides efficient, peppy, and seamless.

Who and what is it for?

The Hoka Rincon 3 is a perfect neutral road shoe for runners who want an affordable workshoe. And by workhorse, we mean, it can handle anything from easy runs to uptempo paces, and even races.

Rincon 3 vs. 2: "Bouncier and softer"

The Hoka One One Rincon 3 is practically the same Rincon — inexpensive, light, and fun — but with a bit of twist from the bottom up. Here are the changes:

  • Contrary to its precursors, its midsole is cushier, more durable, and responsive.
  • The outsole has more rubber to increase its strength.
  • For a more comfortable wrap and to accommodate wide-footed runners, the upper is much roomier.
