Good to know
- The Hoka One One Clayton features the brand’s innovative Pro2Lite midsole technology that delivers a responsive ride. It provides the necessary cushioning in the heel and forefoot area for a smoother heel-to-toe transition.
- It also features the RMAT outsole that provides added cushioning and reliable traction while running on the road. It comes in a lightweight construction and helps runners experience a more responsive ride.
The size of the Clayton runs small. Runners must purchase a half size larger than the actual size. The midfoot delivers a snug fit and the heel area is a bit narrow. The forefoot is a bit wider, accommodating those with a slightly wider forefoot. Hoka One One is offering this shoe in standard widths.
The full ground contact platform of the shoe provides improved traction and a smoother heel-to-toe transition. It uses the full RMAT outsole material that delivers high rebound cushioning for a responsive ride and reliable traction while running on the road. For a similar experience, the Saucony Kinvara 10 is also a neutral shoe designed for competitive running.
The shoe uses the Pro2Lite +10 midsole cushioning that provides a softer cushioning in the heel area and a firmer cushioning in the forefoot for propulsion. It also comes with an Early Stage Meta-Rocker Geometry that is specifically designed to improve runners’ running mechanism for high performance.
The air mesh material comprises the upper of the Hoka One One Clayton. It delivers a lightweight and breathable coverage all throughout the run. The no-sew construction delivers a seamless interior for the foot, reducing the possibilities of irritation and blistering. Along with this is the no-sew TPU lattice that wraps the foot securely for a supportive fit. An enhanced fit is also experienced through the microfiber reinforced midfoot support.
