Size and fit

The Globe GS Chukka comes in men's sizes 7-14 in medium width. Its upper could be made up of suede, twill, or leather, depending on the chosen colorway. Such materials deliver a solid and dependable feel for the foot. A four-eyelet lace-up system featuring leather laces help keep the fit tight and secure. Additionally, it has a low-cut design that offers plenty of ankle mobility.

Globe GS Chukka Style

Many color options were released for the low-top Globe GS Chukka. Selections include black twill/crepe, dark tan pigskin suede/crepe synthetic leather, olive hemp/synthetic leather, and taupe. These neutral colorways can add a sophisticated touch to any outfit for any occasion. Moreover, the kicks are suitable for dressed-up looks.

Shorts, straight-cut jeans, or pants will go well with the shoe's skate style. A t-shirt, sweatshirt, jacket, or hoodie should complete the street-ready appeal. Meanwhile, for events requiring a dressier flair, the sneaker can easily be worn with chinos, slacks, or pants along with a polo shirt or button-down.

Notable Features

With a combination of function and performance, the Globe GS Chukka skate shoe is built with handpicked components. The result is a high-quality and durable skate sneaker that can be worn for different casual activities. Superb craftsmanship is present in the meticulous stitching, the sleek lace, and eyelet detailing, and the smooth upper design.

For a stylish touch, stitch detailing is visible throughout the upper. Meanwhile, Globe branding is found on the tag located on the tongue. A small pull tab on the collar helps in easing the foot in and out. Lastly, the padded collar offers added ankle comfort.

Globe GS Chukka History

Globe International was founded in 1985 in Australia by the brothers Peter, Stephen and Matt Hill, who serves as the company's current CEO. Peter and Stephen are both former Australian skateboard champions. At the time, they were unsatisfied with the lack of quality products for skating and so they wanted to import US products to Australia.

Through constant skating, promotions, contests, advertisements, and tours, the brothers' business expanded and went on to influence the boom of skating in New Zealand and Australia in the 1980s. Since then, Globe International has grown its operations to an international scope. Today, the brand is known for its reliable kicks.

One of the brand's recent offers is the Globe GS Chukka shoe, which hails from a skate series made up of shaved suede and other materials. This sneaker is developed from the well-loved GS shoe. It's updated with the brand's shock bed insole, Super V outsole, and signature unique curved collar.

Additional Info

  • The sneaker is made with the brand's trademark Shockbed insole, which delivers superb impact control through its polyurethane footbed.
  • Flexibility, durability, and excellent board feel are offered by the Super V vulcanized sole.
