How to style the Fila Disruptor Low

Due to its low-cut design, the Fila Disruptor Low can be worn with an athletic style by pairing it with a jogger or a sweatpant. It can also be styled with street outfits or a little bit more of a chic get-up by wearing it with a dress or a shirt or hoodie over casual jeans or shorts.

It adapts with any fashion, just like how a chameleon adjusts to its environment. Due to its monochromatic colorway, it can complement the cozy spring and summer outfit.

A reliable fit

The Fila Disruptor Low is offered in both the ladies' and gentlemen's measurements. According to Fila, the Disruptor Low is running large and has a narrow fit.

For these reasons, the brand recommends the customers to buy the shoe on a size larger than their accurate measurements.

The sneaker is designed with a synthetic leather upper to have a better hold on the feet and also to provide additional support. However, the shoe lacks ankle support due to its low top. In exchange for the lack of ankle support, the feet have more freedom of movement.

Notable features of the Disruptor Low

The Fila Disruptor Low is back with its retro vibes. The tongue and collar of this sneaker is padded for extra support and comfort. The tongue is also designed with a big FILA logo.

The shoe's history

Fila's revival is led by the brand's sawtoothed-soled bulky sneaker, the Disruptor, which was initially released in 1996. The 1980s and 1990s vibes inspire the design of the sneaker. This silhouette alone was able to raise the brand's footwear business by over sixty percent in just three seasons. Later on, an updated version was released and is known as the Disruptor II. The two footwear by Fila were able to ride several trends, such as Dad's shoes and ugly sneakers.

Aside from these two, another iteration of the original Disruptor was introduced in the market, the Fila Disruptor Low. Whether the regular footwear buyers love them or hate them, these bulky sneakers are undeniably hard to ignore.

Another pale pink version of the shoe is known as "Woodrose". Sticking to pale colorways, right after the release of the "Woodrose", the silhouette is now looking at a paler nude tone.
