Updates to Ecco Track 25 Boot

  • The Ecco Track 25 High is a hiker built to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Track II. It’s a full-grain and oiled nubuck leather boot that contains a Gore-Tex membrane to keep water out.
  • The footgear’s cushy midsole is made of polyurethane (PU), a material known for its resilience to wear and tear. It’s paired with a thermo-polyurethane (TPU) outsole to provide traction on various types of terrain.

Size and fit

The Ecco Track 25 High is a hiking boot for male and female adventurers. Since the upper is made entirely of leather, it might feel stiff at first. But once broken in, the leather becomes soft and supple and conforms to the foot, giving the wearer a glove-like fit. The footwear’s lace-up closure system grants a secure lockdown to the user, having two additional hooks at the top for a customized fit. Also, the boot runs relatively true to size.

Outsole

The non-marking TPU outsole allows the Ecco Track 25 Boot to grip on virtually all types of terrain. The outsole’s circular lugs grant multi-directional traction for stability on uneven ground. It incorporates a heel brake and several grooves at the forefoot area for improved ascent and descent control.

Midsole

This high-cut day hiking boot from Ecco uses a PU midsole to provide the user with cushioning, stability, and rebound. Its polyurethane construction grants this component with lasting durability and abrasion resistance. The footwear’s removable leather ECFS footbed enhances arch support and underfoot comfort while optimizing air circulation.

Upper

The Ecco Track 25 High’s upper is made of full-grain leather and oiled nubuck. It features modern styling with masculine practicality, as depicted by the brand. Having a leather upper renders the hiker sturdy and resistant to abrasions, damage, and wear and tear. The interior of this boot is lined with a Gore-Tex membrane to keep water out while allowing the user’s foot to breathe.

With such features, this heavy-duty boot makes an ideal choice for backpacking in really rugged terrains.

The boot’s closure system consists of several eyelets and metal hooks to manage the fit. Its padded collar and tongue promote comfort without limiting ankle flexibility. A pull loop is found at the back of the gear to provide an easy on and off.
