Notable Features

Perforated detailing on the Ecco Collin Perf Slip On’s soft leather upper provides a well-ventilated feel. Its leather is also supple enough to allow natural foot movement. There is elastic goring at the sides of the shoe to help in easily slipping the foot in and out. Complementing the sneaker’s simple style is the plain white midsole. The Ecco label is found on the heel.

Ecco Collin Perf Slip On History

Ecco was established in 1963 by the Danish entrepreneur Karl Toosbuy. The company started out with a small factory in the rural town of Bredebro in the southern countryside. It was there that Toosbuy and his wife, Birte, along with a small team, began to work long hours, learning how to perfect the manufacturing process through trial and error. The first notable success came in the late 1970s when the company came up with the shoe named the “Joke.”

From then on, more successes came as the brand released one revolutionary model after another. By the 1980s, Ecco was able to expand its business operations internationally. The brand’s commitment to quality is so great that the team decided that owning all aspects of manufacturing would be best. In the year 2000, the company was able to achieve this, controlling and maintaining every step of production all the way to the retailing level.

Even as Ecco continued to expand, the label’s shoes still retained the quality and simple styles that they have been known for. Many models from the brand’s lineup have become favorites not only for their timeless appeal but their reliability as well. One sneaker that perfectly encapsulates this is the low-top Ecco Collin Perf Slip On.

As the name implies, the shoe’s upper is perforated to provide ventilation as well as an eye-catching style. It’s also made to be lightweight and supportive for different everyday activities. Furthermore, it has a classic leather flair in earth colors that make it appropriate for both laidback and semi-formal occasions. In short, it’s a well-suited sneaker for today’s modern lifestyle.
