Size and fit

Ecco Collin 2.0s are offered in men’s sizes which run from 5/5.5 to 13/13.5 in the typical Ecco way of measuring length. The shoes reportedly run narrow although some have found that breaking them in or loosening the laces can somehow help with the fit. However, those with wide feet might have difficulty in putting these on.

Ecco Collin 2.0 Style

When you think of Ecco, the words ‘relaxed elegance’ might come to mind. No matter how straightforward the design seems to be, the brand somehow manages to infuse it with a hint of sophistication.

Ecco Collin 2.0 shoes come from the brand’s low-top sneaker collection. These feature a casual, athletic air that is elevated by the mix of premium yak and bovine leather fabrics that the brand used for the uppers. Although meant to be sporty, it wouldn’t be difficult to imagine these paired with chinos and a button-down shirt.

Notable Features

The Ecco Collin 2.0 model was created by Ecco using an advanced technology the company calls FLUIDFORM. The process uses a state-change technique to create soft and flexible soles that diffuse the shock of each stride you make.

The shoes also feature the brand’s Comfort Fibre System, which is applied to the insoles to keep the feet dry and fresh.

Ecco Collin 2.0 History

One remarkable thing about Ecco is that it builds its own shoes in its own production facilities using leather the company crafted in its own tanneries. The quality of the leather Ecco makes and the shoes it churns out are some of the things that the brand is most proud of.

Ecco has been at the forefront of the quality leather goods and footwear market as early as 1963 when Karl Toosbuy decided to set up shop in Bredebro, Denmark. The business was brisk, and by the 80s, the brand saw a million pairs of footwear sold in one year alone.

From one plant in the 60s, Ecco has quickly expanded to establishing its own research and design center, many tanneries, retail stores, and other businesses that have anything to do with the production process. It operates businesses in many countries in four continents and sells its goods in 99 countries.

Two of Ecco’s guiding principles which helped the brand grow to such heights are quality and uniqueness. These are very evident in the Collin 2.0 model, which showcases the brand’s dedication to detail and craftsmanship.
