Size and fit

The DC Maswell is a low-top skate sneaker from the DC Shoes, Inc. brand. Its low-top construction allows a non-restrictive foot movement while a lace-up closure is in place for a customized fit. The collar and tongue are cushioned for added in-shoe comfort.

Sizes available are for men that range from US 6 to 14, half sizes included, in D Standard or Medium width. The fit is narrow and snug for the majority of wearers so those with wide feet may have to size up for a more comfortable fit.

DC Maswell Style

Look good whether skating or not with the DC Maswell low-top sneakers. Easily recognizable with an old school bulky appearance, it features a multi-panel upper made of suede, leather, and mesh (depending on the colorway), foam padded tongue and collar, and sculpted performance cupsole. A variety of colorways are available including Green, Blue/Black/White, Black/White/True Red, White/Gum, Navy White, Black/Black/White, White/Black/Red, and Black/Grey/Yellow.

Notable Features

The DC Maswell shoe is primarily characterized by a good looking upper that consists of multiple layers of different materials including mesh, suede, and leather. It includes triple-layer reinforcements on high wear areas for increased durability suited for skateboarding. The sole is another worth noting as it is a sculpted performance cupsole with the brand’s trademarked pill pattern tread for optimum traction.

DC Maswell History

The DC Shoes, Inc. or otherwise referred to as DC (formerly Droors Clothing) is one of today’s most prominent footwear brands that cater specifically to the skate community. It has been producing skate-ready sneakers since it was founded in 1994 by Ken Block and Damon Way. Backed with a strong lineup of skate shoes that combine performance with style, DC remains a favorite brand of many skaters, both professional and amateur, and casual wearers up to this day.

Among its recently released shoe models that define the brand’s heritage in the skate industry is the DC Maswell shoe. It is another low-top that boasts a classic bulky, old-school, and skate-ready façade finished off with attractive color combinations and sculpted performance cupsole.
