DC Legacy 98 Slim History
DC Shoes Inc. was introduced in 1994 and was the brainchild of friends Damon Way and Ken Block, who started the company to manufacture and provide skaters with the appropriate footwear to skate in. With having just a few other brands to compete with, DC became a massive hit among the skaters and hit $7 million in revenue within its first year.
DC was known as the number one skate brand back in the 90s. And a notable DC model from that era is called the Legacy, which debuted in 1998. 20 years after, DC brought back the Legacy lineage by downsizing every design element to attain a slimmed down versions of the 98 skate shoe. An iteration is called the DC Legacy 98 Slim, which features a more streamlined contemporary runner-inspired silhouette and modern technologies essential for skateboarding.
