  • This winter boot from Danner is packed with 200G PrimaLoft insulation, the Danner Dry waterproof membrane, and an OrthoLite footbed for long-lasting cushioning and underfoot protection. It also features the Vibram Nisqaully Arctic Grip for grip and traction in cold weather, a nylon shank for stability and support, and a rubberized EVA midsole that delivers enhanced durability.
  • The Arctic 600 has a suede leather upper that provides plush comfort and weather protection.

The Danner Arctic 600 Side-Zip is a high-top winter boot with a foot-conforming leather upper. It is designed using a DPDX last for a precise fit. This last is built to offer enough room for comfort while maintaining a sleek profile.

This boot stands 7 inches tall which means it offers a good amount of protection around the ankle.

Moreover, this boot uses a traditional lace-up closure with robust metal D-rings and flat laces for a secure fit. The two pairs of metal hooks at the top allow the wearer to adjust the fit around the ankle differently from that of the forefoot. Additionally, there is a semi-locking zipper at the side that locks itself closed when zipped up and releases quickly when you pull the zipper down.

Danner has partnered with Vibram to create an outsole exclusively meant for the Arctic 600 Side-Zip. It has the Arctic Grip compound designed to specifically provide advanced traction in wet and icy terrains. This outsole is made entirely of rubber, without any metal components or inserts for extreme durability in snowy or icy cold conditions. Furthermore, the diamond-shaped lugs have a wide contact surface area for increased grip on slick surfaces. It also features flex lines along the edges and a split heel for surefooted steps.

For its cushioning system, the Arctic 600 Side-Zip uses a rubberized EVA midsole also designed and manufactured by Vibram. It's called SPE midsole which, compared to traditional EVA, offers more durability. This exclusive technology promotes improved rebound, comfort, and support.

Furthermore, this boot utilizes an Ortholite footbed for added cushioning and comfort. Ortholite is a renowned brand for quality insoles. It's made of durable open-cell polyurethane (PU) that promotes air circulation and moisture management.

Danner is known for creating some of the most stylish boots. Among their most popular is the Danner Classic. Akin to the looks of the Danner Classic is the Arctic 600 Side-Zip which comes in plush suede. Lining the shoe interior is a waterproof membrane called the Danner Dry - a 100% waterproof barrier that keeps the foot dry. And to protect against the icy breeze, this winter boot from Danner also comes with 200 grams of Primaloft Gold insulation - a premium insulating material that can resist compression, therefore providing long-lasting weather protection.

Completing the upper is a traditional lace-up closure for a secure and precise fit.
