- The Columbia Terrebonne II Mid Outdry is made for day hikers who require a balanced performance on rough trails no matter the weather condition. It succeeds the first Columbia Terrebonne Mid Outdry. Two of the technologies used in the old version are present in this iteration—Outdry and Techlite. The former shields the foot from wet elements, while the latter provides underfoot cushioning.
- For surface traction, the Terrebonne II Mid Outdry is equipped with a company-exclusive outsole, called Omni-Grip. It replaces the Vibram outsole seen in the boot’s predecessor.
A mid-cut day hiking boot for men, which Columbia considers true to size, is the Terrebonne II Mid Outdry. It is offered in whole and half sizes in B – standard width. A personalized and secure fit is promised by the footgear’s ghillie lacing.
The second-generation Terrebonne Mid Outdry latches on to a variety of backcountry surfaces with its proprietary Omni-Grip outsole. It is made of a special type of non-marking rubber. Wearers are given multi-directional grip and slip resistance over loose- or soft-soiled terrain with the outsole’s aggressively shaped lugs and grooves.
A proprietary lightweight midsole called Techlite is what stabilizes and protects the foot over rough terrain in the Terrebonne II Mid Outdry. Columbia shoemakers crafted its springy frame with high energy return. It comes by default with a cushy footbed to give wearers even more comfort underfoot.
This above-the-ankle hiker from Columbia has a part mesh, part full-grain leather upper. It comes imbued with Outdry—a brand-exclusive technology that makes the shoe water-impenetrable on the outside yet cool and breathable on the inside. A partial rand made of heavy-duty rubber covers its forefoot to shield users from bumpy terrain hazards on the trail.
The Terrebonne II Mid Outdry’s eyelets are a combination of closed loops and open hooks. The lace loops are made of fabric, while the hooks are made of metal. These combination eyelets work with a sturdy synthetic lace in securing the foot in place.
