Updates to Chaco Z/Cloud 2

  • The Chaco Z/Cloud 2 offers optimal comfort and security on the trails. Its open-toe construction and customizable strap webbing with a toe loop grants a breathable environment and enhanced foot control.
  • This sandal also sports the Luvseat footbed which has an antimicrobial treatment to maintain its freshness. On the other hand, its brand-owned ChacoGrip compound allows it to bite on various terrain types.

Size and fit

A fairly true-to-size, multi-sport sandal for men and women, the Chaco Z/Cloud 2 comes in standard and wide widths. Its adjustable heel riser and continuous single strap webbing enable users to fine-tune the fit. Lastly, both versions are offered in whole sizes only.

Outsole

The Chaco Z/Cloud 2 has a rubber outsole made of the non-marking ChacoGrip rubber compound. Its lug depth is gender specific—3 mm for women and 3.5 mm for men. It can handle a variety of terrain through its grippy facade. Additionally, its boots are spaced to prevent water entrapment that can cause slipping.

Midsole

This sandal comes with a dual-density PU midsole which provides long-lasting cushioning and a comfortable ride. The women's version comes with a midsole specifically made for females and the Chaco Cloud which delivers active cushioning. Atop is the podiatrist-certified Luvseat platform (footbed) which cradles the foot and renders arch support. Its surface is textured to prevent foot slippage.

Upper

The upper of the Z/Cloud 2 features an adjustable polyester jacquard webbing. This high-tensile material and an injection-molded ladder lock buckle wrap the foot securely and keep it fastened, respectively. Chaco designers also included a toe loop which yields a more controlled stride, allowing the sandal to move in sync with the user’s foot.

Additional Info

  • The Chaco Z/Cloud 2 is vegan-friendly.
