Good to know
The Z/Canyon 2 is a Chaco product packed with features that help trail lovers cover miles with security, comfort, and stable performance. It comes with the 3-D Heel Holster—a supportive rearfoot strap built extra sturdy to keep the heel locked in.
It comes with two of Chaco’s proprietary technologies: Luvseat and ChacoGrip Plus. The former—the sandal’s midsole/insole—affords hikers with adequate cushioning and protection underfoot, while the latter grants users the right amount of grip on a variety of backcountry surfaces.
Chaco’s Z/Canyon 2 is a relatively true-to-size multi-sport sandal designed for both men and women. It is offered in standard width and sizes. Its fit may be customized for a secure lockdown using the hiker’s highly adjustable straps.
Giving trail dwellers enough slip and skid resistance in the Z/Canyon 2 is the ChacoGrip Plus outsole. This non-marking component made of rubber is engineered with low-profile, diamond-shaped lugs which claw into loose soil for extra grip.
The Chaco Z/Canyon 2’s dual-density midsole called Luvseat is made of polyurethane (PU). It is built with the Cloud 2.0 technology for extra support. Its confines house a running-inspired kinetic rebound plate which grants enhanced energy return with every stride. A contoured non-removable footbed contributes to the underfoot cushioning it provides.
This Chaco offering secures the foot in its toe-looped upper made of polyester jacquard webbing. The strap securing the ankle region is furnished with an injection-molded ladder lock buckle, making it adjustable. The rest of the straps are networked within the sandal’s midsole unit, where they move to and fro during adjustments. Its supportive 3D-molded Heel Holster is made of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU).
