Asolo Space GV notable features

-Ideal for adventures on the trail or around town, the Space GV features the Vibram A-Sport outsole for extra grip on uneven surfaces. It is also equipped with a Gore-Tex lining that is highly tested for keeping water out, and a mono-density EVA midsole that offers the right mix of cushion, support, and protection.

-This shoe also comes with a 1.4-1.6 mm suede upper that is great-looking and water-resistant.

Size and fit

The Asolo Space GV is a low-cut hiker for men and women. The pull tab in the heel allows for easy entry while the suede leather upper adapts to the shape of the foot after a quick break-in period. This hiker also comes with an anatomic footbed that provides a contoured design to fit the shape of the foot.

Outsole

For the outsole, the Space GV makes use of Vibram Megagrip technology. It is known for having a good grip on both dry and wet surfaces. It is “sticky” but is long-wearing. This sole also features self-cleaning lugs to allow hikers to tackle muddy terrain with ease. Lastly, this Vibram technology is designed to increase grip on wet grounds and resist abrasion.

Midsole

This low-cut hiker from Asolo is equipped with single-density EVA midsole. EVA is currently the most popular material used in manufacturing midsoles because it’s very durable, firm but still cushiony, and has rebound properties.

The EVA midsole also provides stability to the foot. People who are constantly on their foot all day understand how important footwear cushioning is.

Upper

These Asolo shoes are very stylish, thanks to the one-piece suede leather upper which comes in three colors - black, walnut, and beluga.

The insides of the shoe are lined with Gore-Tex Extended Comfort - a durable waterproof membrane with “climate comfort performance”. This technology is designed to give non-insulated footwear waterproof protection with some breathability.

There is, however, not enough breathable material in the upper (such as mesh). This means the shoe can get a little warmer in really humid days. Thankfully, it’s a low-cut model which means your foot won’t feel too hot and skimped.

Completing the upper is a traditional lace-up closure for a secure fit. There’s a pull tab in the heel system for assisted entry.
