If breathability is important to you, check out the ASICS Gel Challenger 13. It isn't only well-ventilated but also offers excellent cushioning, good fit, and durability in a lightweight package. If you prefer a clay-oriented pair that's cushioned, hard-wearing, but not overbearing, try the Gel Resolution 8 Clay.
Not bottom-heavy
Speed shoes like the Solution Speed FF are typically lightweight to allow the user to confidently lunge, slide, and stretch towards any court angle. It weighs a few grams lighter than the Gel Solution Speed 3, engineered to deliver responsiveness and maximum durability. The FlyteFoam midsole technology is the primary reason why this shoe feels exceptionally lightweight.
This dense foam is lighter than the Solyte sponge found in the ASICS Gel Solution Speed 3, ASICS Gel Challenger 12, and ASICS Gel Resolution 7. Made of natural fibers, The full-length cushioning unit, made of natural fibers, helps reduce stress and impact to the feet with its responsive feature.
Shock-absorbing gel units
Aside from having a cushioned foam bed, this footgear also has ASICS Gel units integrated under the ball of the foot and below the heel that work as an extra barrier against impact.
Prevents overtwisting of foot
Some newer ASICS tennis shoes like this shoe are built with the Twisstrust midfoot support. This mechanism inhibits lateral twisting, giving the player stability when diving for the ball or sliding before reaching a complete stop. This arch support that doesn’t come too high or low can back up a wide range of foot types without posing much discomfort.
Moisture-wicking footbed
Adding more padding underfoot is the Ortholite sockliner. It intends to safeguard the foot from impact and keeps it dry and fresh with its moisture-wicking property.
Wraps the feet for a secure fit
This updated Solution Speed trainer is wrapped with the Flexion Fit upper engineering with a form-fitting attribute.
Memory foam for pressure relief
The FlyteFoam Solution Speed shoe is formulated with two layers of memory foam lining on the heel collar for added protection during sudden directional changes. Its Personalized Heel Fit label suggests its primary purpose, mainly to grant a customized fit around the rear side.
Toes get added protection
The PGuard toe protector is laid at the forefoot for improved durability since this section is prone to abrasion during toe drags.
Tough, grippy sole
The high-wear zones of the outsole are built with a tough kind of rubber compound, the AHAR (ASICS High Abrasion Resistant). The rubber outsole grants enhanced durability and offers a balance of grip that permits the wearer to spin around the court at full speed.
