Good to know

  • The Asics GT 2000 3 utilizes some of the brand’s most trusted technologies and systems. When combined, they make the running experience more robust. A good helping of cushioning and moderate stability make the platform more responsible; the upper feels secure as it wraps around the foot, and the outsole is able to give reliable protection and traction.
  • The upper unit of this stability running shoe utilizes breathable materials in order to keep the foot cool and dry. Basically, they allow air to easily enter the shoe in order to maintain a well-ventilated experience for the runner. Lightweight support is afforded by synthetic overlays. The Heel Clutching System™ holds the rear of the foot in place and keeps it in the shoe at all times.
  • The platform makes use of a cushioning system that mixes responsible cushioning and springiness in one package. Billed as more efficient than standard and modified foam technologies on the market, this full-length compound maintains comfort and security to the underfoot area. Stability is also part of what this shoe is capable of providing.
  • The outsole unit of the Asics GT 2000 3 uses two rubber compounds that work together in order to keep the mid-sole safe from the debilitating nature of the asphalt. Aside from being protective and durable, one of these rubber compounds add a bit of cushioning, making each step more comfortable.

The Asics GT 2000 3 has a standard running shoe length. It comes in sizes that adhere to the regular measurements. Men and women are going to get the right fit for them. The width of this shoe is medium, so it welcomes the runners who have medium sized feet. Its semi-curved shape follows the natural curve of the human foot.

Just like in the popular Asics GT 2000 7, this shoe uses the AHAR® or Asics High Abrasion Resistant Rubber and it is the main protective element of the outsole unit. It shields the mid-sole from the potentially harmful nature of the asphalt, essentially extending the lifespan of the shoe.

The DuraSponge® is a more responsive rubber compound that also protects the sole unit from damage. A unique trait of this type of rubber is that it gives additional cushioning, basically keeping each step as comfortable as possible. It’s flexible, as well.

The FluidRide™ combines reliable cushioning and bounce-back mechanics and places them in a coherent foam that runs the entire length of the Asics GT 2000 3. It doesn’t break down easily, so it stays efficient even after many uses.

The front and rear sections of the platform feature the Gel® Cushioning System, a silicon-based gel that’s responsible for absorbing impact shock during the landing and toe-off phases of the gait cycle.

The Dynamic DuoMax® Support System in the mid-foot regulates foot pronation and keeps the running gait of the wearer as balanced as possible. They lead the runner to a running method that is more sound and consistent, but they do not limit the capability of the foot to move as naturally as it can.

Breathable mesh makes the upper unit of the Asics GT 2000 3 very comfortable. Air is allowed to circulate in and through the foot-chamber, thus making the interior feel well-ventilated.

Synthetic overlays provide a snug and secure fit to the runner. They connect directly to the lacing system, adapting to how the shoelaces are adjusted.

A padded tongue and collar keep the foot in place while making it feel well-supported. They help the Heel Clutching System™ when it comes to preventing interior wobbliness and accidental shoe removals.
