  • Asics presented the Gel Fit Vida as the “cardio queen” of their studio line. It is crafted to be light and flexible to accommodate the dexterity needed for cardio or any other type of rigorous workout. The one-piece upper unit is made of textile for a sock-like fit. A synthetic brace on each quarter panel helps in stabilizing the foot. The Fluid Fit overlays give a non-restricting structure to the upper.
  • The molded ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) midsole and the Rearfoot GEL component are employed for cushioning and impact minimization. The outsole unit features rubber pods for traction and a pivot point for smooth twists and turns. These components are inherent to most workout shoes from Asics.

The Asics Gel Fit Visa was designed specifically for women. It comes in a range of full and half sizes from 5 to 12. The shoe tends to run on the short side, so it is advisable to consider going half-a-size up. It has a standard width in the heel, midfoot, and forefoot sections as it is offered in a B – Medium profile.

The Gel Fit Vida makes use of rubber traction pods in the heel and forefoot sections to prevent the shoe from slipping on most surfaces. The rubber is labeled as non-marking which means that it doesn’t leave any smears.

Under the ball of the foot is a circular pivot point. This component allows for easier twists and turns during the dance-based workouts.

Flex grooves are present throughout the entire outsole. The purpose of these furrows is to make sure that the foot can bend or flex inherently throughout the activity.

The Asics Gel Fit Vida uses a molded EVA midsole for a cushioned and responsive ride. This material is lightweight, durable and flexible. Atop it is the Ortholite sock liner which has moisture management and odor prevention properties. The insert also makes it more comfortable to wear the shoe without socks.

The Rearfoot GEL cushioning unit maximizes the shock-absorbing effect in the heel section. It ensures the bottom of the foot is protected from impact during the landing phase.

The Gel Fit Vida features a one-piece and seamless upper that’s made of textile. It offers a comfortable, sock-like fit. The synthetic Fluid Fit overlays are strategically printed throughout the upper for a flexible, yet structured support.

There’s a stabilizing brace on both sides of the upper. They work together with the lacing system to provide lateral support and a secure fit.
