Who should buy ASICS Gel Fit Sana 3
The ASICS Gel Fit Sana 3 is a training shoe that builds upon the success of its predecessor. It utilized materials to enhance the stability and agility of its user. It is a solid option if:
- You have a wide forefoot dimension.
- Your fitness routine involves a lot of multidirectional movements.
Updates to the Asics Gel Fit Sana 3
- The Get Fit Sana 3 uses a mesh fabric while the old version had a FluidFit printed material.
Multi direction-optimized outsole
The Gel Fit Sana 3 features an exposed midsole. This material is durable enough to withstand the wear and tear associated with training,
It has crisscross-patterned flex grooves in the forefoot area that allow for multidirectional flexion and movement.
It utilizes rubber pods in critical areas such as parts of the forefoot and heel to provide traction when needed.
Shock-absorbent midsole
The Gel Fit Sana 3 uses a Rearfoot GEL technology that efficiently absorbs shock from impact and converts it to energy for the toe-off. It makes the reaction to changes in movements faster.
The same midsole construction can be found the another women’s trainer from ASICS, the Gel Fit Yui.
Breathable upper
The ASICS Gel Fit Sana 3 uses an internal sleeve called the MONO-SOCK which gives the shoe its sock-like fit. It is a seamless technology that reduces irritation and friction. Also, it is smooth, lightweight and breathable.
Lining the outside of the upper is a mesh fabric that enhances the breathability of the sock-like lining of the interior.
Supportive lacing system
The lacing system serves more as a support structure than for closure because the tongue unit is sewn in. Loosening the laces won’t make the mouth of the shoe open wider than it is, but it will adjust the fit in the midfoot area.
Snug collar section
There is a pull tab at the back of the collar that makes it easier to put on the shoe.
Both the tongue and collar are lightly padded to deliver comfort to the instep and Achilles areas of the foot. The collar also serves to keep the foot from slipping out while in motion.
