Good to know

Designed by Robbie Fuller, the Anta KT Light 3 was released on February 24, 2018 at below $100. It is packed with Anta’s technologies to provide superb customer satisfaction. The upper feels soft to the touch because of its stretchable knit. For a comfortable ride, the midsole has a full-length A-shock technology. Performance-wise, the outsole rubber is sturdy enough to be used not only on indoor courts but also on outdoor ones. The outrigger is reinforced with Anta’s A-StableUp technology, which provides wearers stability and helps prevent ankle injuries upon landing.

After the third Anta shoe, Klay Thompson surprised sneakerheads with his fourth signature shoe in a high-top form. The positively-reviewed footwear is presented with an aesthetic comparison with LeBron James’s 16th Nike basketball shoe. Some claim that Anta is a copycat of the latter’s upper material and design.

Cushion. The Anta KT light 3’s responsiveness is mainly brought about by its midsole’s full-length A-shock technology. It is a cushion that is made of high polymer material. It slows down impact and provides great energy return. The midfoot has Auto-Arch, which is practically a TPU shank that promotes stability and prevents torsional twists.

Traction. The outsole of the Anta KT Light 3 boasts a multidirectional traction pattern that is observed to have an excellent court grip. This pattern is said to be an upgraded version of the KT 2’s. The outsole itself is made of solid rubber, so it’s OK to use the shoe outdoors.

For stability, the shoe comes with the A-StableUp technology. It is basically the outrigger found at the lateral side of the shoe, and it protects wearers from ankle rolls especially during quick lateral movements.

Length and Width. According to many Anta KT Light 3 owners, the shoe runs a little wide and at least half a size longer. New buyers with normal-sized feet are advised to go down half a size to get a snug fit. As for those with wider feet, they can enjoy the KT Light 3 by going true to size. The toe area has enough wiggle room and the full-knit upper is stretchable.

Lockdown. The Anta KT Light 3 has a sock-like fit. It comes with a standard lacing system that makes use of lace loops. The loops are connected to strands that are anchored on the midsole. These strands cinch the foot when the laces are tightened.

The upper of the Anta KT Light 3 is made of A-Web. It is a type of mesh that ensures comfort and 360-degree ventilation. The material looks like a full knit . The inner walls of the shoe are well-padded for a comfortable fit. To prevent foot slippage, the shoe has a heel counter.

The low-top silhouette of the third KT Light from Anta is designed for off-court practice. Since the shoe is recommended for gym training, it looks stylish when paired with any gym wear. Not only are these Anta shoes for men, they also look great on women because of their sleek design.

The KT Light 3 from Anta comes in different colorways. The most basic ones are blue/black, black/white, and light blue. Klay Thompson’s logos are found at the top of the tongue and on the insole. These Klay Thompson shoes are available both overseas and in the US.
