Adidas ZX 8000 LEGO: A killer collaboration of two icons

When two European descendants collide, expect nothing but greatness. Adidas partnered with Denmark's iconic company, LEGO, to bring new life to the classic running sneaker - Adidas ZX 8000. This partnership conceived a bold piece of kick with cozy and durable elements to keep its wearers stylish and, of course, comfortable all day long.

The Adidas ZX 8000 LEGO is part of the A-ZX Series, a capsule unveiled by Adidas Originals in 2020 to celebrate the ZX franchise. Releasing one iteration for each letter in the alphabet, the Adidas ZX 8000 LEGO represents the letter L in the A-ZX Series.

Exciting things to look for

This sneaker showcases numerous details that will surely excite sneaker fans and LEGO lovers:

  • The bold color combinations create a playful vibe to this retro kick.
  • It has brick details that depict the LEGO building blocks. Although it may disappoint some as these LEGO knobs are not compatible with the actual LEGO pieces.
  • This pair comes with whooping five extra laces and lace jewels in different hues, allowing you to customize the shoe depending on your daily mood.
  • It has an oversized LEGO label stitched on the padded mesh tongue and printed on the sockliner for an added lively vibe.

Is there a cheaper alternative to LEGO x Adidas Originals ZX 8000?

Definitely YES! Try checking out the Puma RS-X Toy. Although this model is not born out of the iconic brick toy's creativity, this sneaker displays bright and colorful hues comparable to the Adidas x LEGO collaboration. The Puma RS-X Toy is part of the Puma RS Series, which started way back in the 80s.

Predominantly dressed with mesh, this model is reinforced with leather overlays and bright stability plugs on its white midsole. It also boasts its well-cushioned tongue and collar, just like what the ZX 8000 LEGO offers.
