Size and fit

The Adidas Trimm Trab is available in both men’s and women’s sizes. Its low-top built allows free range of mobility while a traditional lace-up closure, with D-ring eyelets, provides the feet a secure as well as a personalized fit.

Adidas Trimm Trab Style

It may be considered as an overdose of throwback and nostalgia, but let us not be mistaken. The reissued Trimm Trab has proven to be timeless.

It still looks as fresh and new as it did almost fifty years ago on the feet of soccer fans and common people. Thanks to its low-profile style, vintage nubuck upper, and street-tested hard-wearing sole, this silhouette remains stylish until today—in the league of the other iconic Adidas Originals such as the Campus and the Gazelle. Because of its solid, overall look that never ages, the Trimm Trab can be dressed with a wide gamut of casual and sporty outfits.

Notable Features

While equipped with far better materials compared to its first version, the Trimm Trab retains most of its features. The vintage-looking nubuck upper that sits atop a thick, durable polyurethane sole still catches the eye.

Adidas Trimm Trab History

In the ’70s, Adidas initially introduced the Trimm Trab to complement a public health campaign, which encourages young and old Germans to practice overall fitness. But the Trimm Trabs became more of what it was intended to become. An explosion of interest happened in the 1980s. Reportedly 110,000 pairs of Trimm Trabs were sold by the English businessman Robert Wade Smith in Liverpool alone. The Trimm Trabs had set a heritage in that area and nearby. From there, it has become a casual streetwear across Europe throughout the 1980s.

The Trimm Trab got an exclusive reissue in 2004 due to sheer demand. In 2019, these kicks finally got a major reissue in the two iconic colorways, which represent Liverpool Red and Everton Blue soccer club rivalry.
