Bottom line

The Adidas D.O.N. Issue #2 is a good follow-up to the successful #1. Still priced at a fairly affordable $100, this basketball shoe delivers in terms of comfort, support, and style. Adidas D.O.N. Issue #2: A fitting sequel

Equipped with proven technologies and killer looks, the Adidas D.O.N. Issue #2 is a fitting sequel to the success that the D.O.N. #1 enjoyed. The second Donovan Mitchell shoes effectively deliver the following:

Affordability. At $100 per pair, the second iteration of D.O.N. Issues is easily among the affordable signature shoes out there.

Comfort. The fleixble Bounce midsole provides a good amount of cushioning, making the shoe OK for both casual and on-court use.

Supportive fit. The cord lacing system and the materials that make up the upper of this low-top basketball shoe work together to deliver reliable lockdown.

Adidas D.O.N. Issue #2: Special colorways

Like other signature basketball shoes such as those from LeBron's and Kyrie's much celebrated lines, the D.O.N. Isssue 2 also comes in various colorways. The following are just some:

Spidey-Sense. Donovan Mitchell was once called "Spida" by his peers because of his dunking skills. Don Mitchell also starred in a promotional video for the Spiderman movie in 2019. It is perhaps because of this that Spiderman-inspired colorways are common in Mitchell's signature shoes.

Crayon Pack. Adidas and Donovan Mitchell team up with crayon producer Crayola to produce a few monochromatic versions of the Adidas D.O.N. Issue #2.
