Size and fit

The low-top Adidas Broomfield is a unisex pair that is offered in medium width. Women are recommended to take one size down their usual fit to enjoy more secure and cozier strides. Example, if a woman's shoe size is 6, she is advised to take size 5 in men's size range.

The sneaker uses the traditional lace-up fastening system to provide its wearers an adjustable and snug fit. Meanwhile, the leather inner lining and the Ortholite sockliner enhance the overall soft feeling and support with every step.

Adidas Broomfield Style

The Adidas Broomfield is a dressy kind of footwear with the distinct Adidas classic look that will surely amp up anyone's usually casual attire. It is made of a premium suede material on its upper resting atop a dark-colored sole. Adidas presents this in two exceptional colorways inspired by the English breakfast tea, the Trace Cargo/Raw Khaki/Night Cargo and the St Pale Nude/Brown/Gum5.

The Adidas Broomfield green and grey kicks can be easily matched with chinos or light-colored denim jeans paired with a button-down shirt giving its wearers a smart casual attire. Meanwhile, for users scouting for a totally laid-back look without giving up the stylishness, they may pair this kick with beige shorts and a light-colored t-shirt.

Notable Features

Displaying a retro look inspired by the terrace kicks from the past, the Adidas Broomfield is a real noteworthy pair. The upper of this model is made of soft suede material with the vintage T-Toe overlay and the rubber outsole that give hints of the footwear from the archives. Adding another striking feature are the green and grey colorways that were inspired by the English breakfast tea.

Adidas Broomfield History

Adidas Originals formed the Spezial collection to give honor to past silhouettes that haven't seen the light for the longest time. The brand assigned Gary Aspden and Mike Chetcuti, passionate Adidas collectors, to retrieve some retro iterations from the archives and re-introduce them to the modern market.

In 2017, for the Adidas Spring/Summer collection, the Adidas Camp showcased its extensive legacy in the athletic world and its established relationship with the British and Jamaican reggae culture. This collection created a line that uses military cuts and casual sportswear in muted tones. Included in this collection is the terrace-inspired sneaker called the Adidas Broomfield.

Two years after, the Three Stripes re-launched the Adidas Broomfield under the Adidas Originals' Spring 2019 collection. The Adidas Broomfield's look was taken a cue from the classic AS700 trainer and was named to pay tribute to Mark Allison. Allison's beloved Airdrieonians originally played on the grounds called the Broomfield. This shoe is dressed in a premium suede upper with leather overlay details added with several perforations alongside the iconic 3-Stripe branding.
