Updates

Moving away from the near-close-weave nature of the upper unit of the original Alphabounce model, the Adidas Alphabounce EM embraces engineered mesh as its cover system. This cloth-like element is meant to provide a secure in-shoe hug without having seams or irritating layers. Breathability is a given as it has an open-weave design. The recognizable outsole and midsole still grace this model.

Size and fit

The Adidas Alphabounce EM has been constructed to be true to size. Runners are welcome to get this shoe with their usual choices of size in mind. Still, being able to appreciate an agreeable in-shoe experience can be influenced by initial testing or observation of reviews that cover the sizing aspect.

In-shoe security may also mean the sideways fit and the way the platform and upper interact with the shape of the foot. This model employs a semi-curved platform shape and an upper that is slightly stretchy, thereby accommodating the natural curvature of the human foot.

Outsole

The outsole unit of this Adidas running shoe is made of a durable rubber compound. The job of this material is to protect the base of the midsole foam from the abrasive nature of the surfaces. Also, it is meant to provide surface grip as it is able to adhere to the ground naturally.

Additional traction is given by circular traction nodes that pockmark the external pad. These non-prominent lugs act like clamps that hold the ground, offering extra surface control and deftness to the movement. Swerves, brakes, and turns can become agreeable because of these elements.

Midsole

Underfoot cushioning is the responsibility of the BOUNCE™ technology, a full-length piece that aims to carry the foot throughout the activity. Adidas touts this feature as a highly reactive accoutrement that encourages natural motion and energized performances.

Upper

The upper unit of the Adidas Alphabounce EM is made of engineered mesh. This technology resembles traditional cloth, each fiber woven together in a seamless manner. It is flexible and stretchy, thus preserving the natural bending and swelling of the foot as it tackles the heavy footfalls associated with running. Breathability is also a part of its repertoire as it has an open-weave construction that permits natural airflow. Many shoe series feature engineered mesh, including the well-known Saucony Omni.

The haptic print overlay design is made of a tactile rib-pattern along the sides of the upper. These elements help the lacing system in locking the foot in place.

A one-piece opening allows the foot to slip into the foot-chamber with ease. A neoprene textile further encourages the feeling of being hugged by a cover.

Special editions of the Adidas Alphabounce EM

The Alphabounce EM Undye was designed with the same idea with its parent model, but only with a more natural aesthetic because of its undyed upper material. The EM Undye offers the same quality ride with its BOUNCE™ cushioning midsole technology. The undyed FORGEDMESH works well with a textile lining that gives the shoe a sock-like fit and excellent ventilation. The Adidas EM Undye is bound to be anyone's favorite running partner, especially with how easy it is to be worn from road to street.
