Facts

Who is it for? This shoe is made for different types of seekers:

  • Golfers who need a shoe that can handle cruel course challenges like snow and wind
  • Both mature and young players searching for a timeless golf shoe design
  • Those looking for a shoe that can be used on and off the course

Pure and cool. The Adidas Adipure SP 2.0 is classified as a golf shoe with a spikeless outsole. It is outfitted with Puremotion, a technology prevalent on tennis shoes, to introduce durability and traction. Traxion lugs complete the outsole component as it securely locks the ground in different directions.

More eggs in the basket. Like the previous version, it uses a combination of Boost and Cloudfoam. Though it seemingly needs no explanation due to its ubiquity, Boost benefits golfers for its responsiveness and energy return. To elevate the comfort level, the shoe is fashioned with Cloudfoam. Relative to its name, it translates to the feeling of walking on clouds because of its comfortable underfoot.

Last piece of the midsole puzzle. Filling the triad of technologies is the Ortholite sockliner. Aside from additional cushioning, it repels odor and keeps the interior fresh.

The Adipure Stamp. The upper of the Adipure SP 2.0 is forged with a full-grain leather upper. The luxurious and soft material adds comfort to the foot.

Battle-ready. Aside from the course itself, golfers also consider the weather as the sport is played outdoors. The Three Stripes cover that and equips the shoe with different weather-ready innovations. Aside from given a waterproof treatment, this latest version from Adipure SP is also RAIN.RDY, which makes it windproof as well. This shoe is designed for the harshest situations, including winter.

Like the entire Adipure collection, the SP 2.0 utilizes clean lines, a timeless silhouette, and quality materials. What makes it different from its predecessor, is that it is more minimally-styled as if that was even more possible. This piece doesn’t use any logo, not even the Three Stripes that are usually sported on the sides. The only identifier is the Adipure text on the collar in gold.
