The UGG Pinkett women’s shoe is available in standard sizing with half sizes. The upper stretches a bit after the break-in period. Plus, the traditional lace-up closure also allows the users to customize the width according to their liking.

It is, however, advised to size up when getting this shoe because reviewers noticed that this shoe is a tad narrower than other sneakers.

This versatile sneaker is crafted in a clean and contemporary style with its low-top profile. The UGG Pinkett can be worn with almost anything, including dresses, skirts, ankle jeans, and shorts.

The upper of the UGG Pinkett utilizes hyperweave and leather that promotes breathability and comfort, respectively. Also, this kick comes with a PORON insole for enhanced in-shoe comfort.

The story of UGG started way back in 1978 when its founder, Brian Smith, arrived in Southern California with a bag of sheepskin boots.  During its first season, the company sold 28 pairs of boots. But by the middle of the 80s, UGG boots steadily gained momentum and became the symbol of the region’s casual culture.

While UGG boots caught the attention of the surfing community in Southern California as evidenced by the many surf shops in San Diego and Santa Cruz that carry them, stores in the big cities and towns around the area started selling UGG shoes as well.

It was during the 1994 Winter Olympics that UGG boots gained international recognition. Furthermore, in 2003, Oprah Winfrey included UGG boots in her list of favorite things. Consequently, sales began to shoot up for the brand.  By the end of the 90s, celebrities were spotting wearing these casual shoes.

Today, UGG is registered in more than 130 countries across the globe, including the United States of America. The brand has also expanded to manufacturing bags, outerwear, home goods, apparels, and a lot more. For its footwear line, the brand has a wide range of models to choose from. Aside from sheepskin, UGG shoes now feature canvas and leather in the upper.

The UGG Pinkett is one of the sneakers that use a combination of textile and leather on the upper. Its breathable profile makes it perfect for summer, which is interestingly a glaring contrast against the original sheepskin boot that started it all.

  • A leather welt is used on the outsole of the UGG Pinkett for added durability.
