Tretorn Marley HI2 History

In 1891, Johan Dunker founded the company Tretorn which means three towers in Swedish. At first, the company manufactured galoshes, bicycle pedals, hoses, and tennis balls. Eventually, in 1967, the company entered the sneaker market and released and introduced to the market the first luxury sports shoe which was the Tretorn Nylite.

In the 1980s, the brand made its ways into the fashion culture, and most teens wanted to get their pair of Tretorn sneakers. Among the celebrities who were seen wearing Nylite were Farah Fawcett and Jackie O. Later on, Tretorn introduced the practical yet fashionable boots, Skerry, which was intended for the boat.
