Bottom line

Designed with a classic sporty look, the TOMS Arroyo sneakers boast of a stylish design accented by engaging textures and colors. Complementing its vintage good looks are excellent cushioning and comfort brought by OrthoLite Eco X40 insoles and padded heel collars.

Aesthetically appealing and comfortable are enough reasons for copping this pair but with Keen’s tradition of giving back to less fortunate people purchasing this kick could be very worthwhile and fulfilling.

TOMS is an American shoe company based in Playa Del Rey, California. Founder Blake Mycoskie, an entrepreneur from Texas, established the brand in 2006 after coming back from a vacation in Argentina. There he observed that the local polo players were donning alpargatas, a canvas slip-on shoe which became the blueprint for TOMS’ original line of shoes. These straightforward slip-on shoes eventually rose to become the brand’s signature shoes and became a household name.

The company’s business model is called the “one for one” model which promises to give out a free pair of shoes to a child in need for every purchase of their retail product. This model was adopted by the brand after Mycoskie’s volunteer work in Buenos Aires where children were running barefoot.

Apart from the brand’s philanthropic endeavors, TOMS has been growing its merchandise from only carrying shoes to including eyewear, apparel, handbags, and coffee. However, Toms is especially famous for its footwear.

One of their latest models is called the TOMS Arroyo, a classic sporty looking sneaker characterized by textures and colors. Note that materials vary depending on the colorway and Toms has made identifying simple by stating the material in the color name.

Here are the shoe’s colorways: Navy Suede and Canvas, Burnished Lilac Suede and Canvas, Gravel Pig Suede, Black Canvas with Shiny Woven, Drizzle Grey Suede with Mini Jersey Stripe, Lichen Green Shaggy Suede and Nubuck, Multi-Space Dye Knit and Chambray, Drizzle Grey Canvas with Slub Chambray, Black Suede with Mini Jersey Stripe, and Drizzle Grey Shaggy Suede with Nubuck.

  • This shoe is offered in Medium width.
  • Stitch detailing and embroidered or embossed T logo enhance the sneaker’s overall aesthetic.
