Who should buy the Timberland Field Trekker Mid
The Field Trekker Mid is an ideal choice for those who are looking for:
- a pair of boots made to withstand severe weather conditions
- footgear that works well in both urban and trail settings
Field Trekker Mid from Timberland offers trail precision
The outsole is attached to the shoe through a direct injection process. This results in a durable sole that has precise lug shapes and spacing. It also creates a durable, waterproof outsole that is highly resistant to wear.
The Field Trekker sole has flatter treads for smoother transitions on pavements. Meanwhile, the lugs aren’t too deep so the shoe doesn’t feel uncomfortable on flat and hard surfaces, such as city streets or interior floors.
Timberland’s Field Trekker Mid carries a cushy midsole
The Field Trekker Mid features a midsole made of EVA foam which is lightweight, flexible, and durable. It has a soft texture but is pliable enough to support varying foot movements. It also gives the midsole a high level of shock-absorption quality. Included in the Field Trekker mid-top hiker is an OrthoLite footbed for added comfort and support.
Vasque Field Trekker Mid’s premium leather upper
This boot is made of premium Suede leather sourced from a Silver-rated tannery. All parts of the upper are stitched together for strength and durability.
It also features a rand - a thin layer of rubber that wraps around the toe area. Aside from protecting the toes from sharp hazards on the trail, the rand also protects the stitching around the upper.
Completing the upper is a rustproof, speed lace hardware. There are lace hooks on top so you can conveniently adjust the fit and tightness around the ankle.
