Good to know

The North Face Ultra Endurance XF Futurelight is a highly durable trail running shoe specifically designed for runners seeking lasting comfort and protection. This edition is the waterproof version of The North Face Ultra Endurance XF.

This neutral running shoe utilizes the Futurelight™ membrane, which made the platform suitable even on wet-weather adventures. This component prevents the water and rain from getting inside the shoe while allowing for continuous ventilation.

Providing maximum comfort is the XtraFoam ™ midsole. This technology delivers a blend of cushioning and lightweight running sensation that will last mile after mile. Below the XtraFoam ™ midsole is the EXTS™ outsole traction system. This rubber outsole offers a better grip on both wet and dry ground compared to other traditional outsole materials.

The North Face Ultra Endurance XF Futurelight is available in standard shoe length for both men and women versions. It utilizes the lace-up closure for a secure and customized fit. Other elements that affect the shoe's fit include the OrthoLite® Hybrid™ footbed and gusseted tongue, which aim to provide extra comfort and protection.

The brand's proprietary EXTS™ outsole traction system is integrated into the Ultra Endurance XF Futurelight. EXTS™ technology is made from a unique outsole compound with a three-tiered approach to traction. This element offers exceptional durability and reliable protection against the abrasive elements.

EXTS™ outsole is coupled with 3 mm lugs. The strategic lug pattern is designed to boost the shoe's traction in both wet and dry conditions.

A soft cushioning material called the XtraFoam™ midsole system is incorporated into the Ultra Endurance XF Futurelight. The XtraFoam™ midsole is composed of a soft and responsive EVA compound. This material offers a healthy balance of support and cushioning for high-performing runners who are committed to trails.

The OrthoLite® Hybrid™ footbed is positioned above the XtraFoam™ midsole for added cushioning. This eco-friendly material is made with 5% recycled rubber. Aside from extra comfort, this component also offers additional underfoot protection and support.

In the upper of the Ultra Endurance XF Futurelight is a dynamic air mesh material. The purpose of the mesh fabric is to provide support and maintain continuous ventilation, keeping the foot dry and cool for an extended period. Another running shoe that utilizes a mesh top is the Adidas Duramo 9

The breathable Futurelight™ membrane is also featured in the upper of this running shoe. Futurelight™ technology is one of the industry-leading waterproof materials, which effectively prevent the entry of water or rain inside the shoe without sacrificing breathability.

A no-sew TPU toe cap and midfoot overlays are included in the shoe to ensure a secure and natural lockdown fit. A gusseted tongue is also used to provide added comfort and prevent dirt and pebbles from entering the shoe.

This North Face running shoe utilizes the lace-up closure for a snug and personalized fit. The shoelaces allow the user to easily adjust the tightness around the shoe.
