Size and fit

The Teva Grandview GTX is a mid-top hiking boot engineered for male and female outdoor enthusiasts. It is equipped with a traditional lacing system to help wearers have a personalized lockdown. This component is connected to an adjustable Universal Heel Lock System, which secures the foot in place without compromising comfort. It is also constructed with a roomy toe box to reduce pressure and optimize comfort in the forefoot area.

Outsole

This waterproof boot for hikers comes with a Vibram Megagrip outsole for ground adherence. It is made of a specially formulated Megagrip rubber compound, making it resistant to wear and abrasion. Its profile is filled with a combination of triangular and bone-shaped lugs to produce grip on wet and dry surfaces.

The sole’s forefoot and rearfoot zones contain ridges. This design helps users tackle uphill and downhill conditions with sufficient control. Its front tip covers a portion of the toe box to deliver protection from various trail hazards.

Midsole

The men’s and women’s Teva Grandview GTX is equipped with a lightweight EVA foam to give trail lovers a cushioned ride. It is also crafted to absorb shock and provide rebound to the user’s every stride. It works in tandem with a nylon midfoot shank for underfoot support and protection from uneven terrain.

Teva placed a footbed made of polyurethane (PU) on top of the Grandview GTX’s midsole. It functions by providing extra cushioning and underfoot comfort.

Upper

The Teva Grandview GTX features an upper made of mesh and an eco-friendly leather variant. This material is sourced from Leather Working Group-certified tanneries, which promote environmentally-sustainable practices. It also comes with a Gore-Tex Leaf membrane, which is made of 71% recycled materials. It works by providing protection from wet encounters while allowing excess moisture to escape. Moreover, this footgear is lined with a layer of soft micro waffle knit fabric to render comfort.

The Grandview GTX’s closure system uses a series of eyelets and a Universal Heel Lock System to aid the wearer in managing the boot’s fit. The latter’s webbing straps are also made of a recycled plastic called Repreve, which combines both durability and eco-friendly properties. A pull tab is positioned on the tip of the tongue for easy on and off. A toe cap and a heel counter are found on both ends of the boot for trail protection and support, respectively.
