This hiking gear, the Teva Arrowood Riva Waterproof’s ankle-supportive sibling, is designed for both short outdoor excursions and day-long trail adventures alike. It is made watertight thanks to eVent.
Steady balance and footing security over tricky terrain are courtesy of the footwear’s sole unit. It consists of a Teva-exclusive midsole and a multi-lugged outsole by Vibram.
The Teva Arrowood Riva Mid Waterproof is a generally true-to-size, mid-cut day hiking boot for men. It is offered in full and half sizes in standard width. Fit management and lockdown security come by means of the boot’s closure system.
Wearers can adhere to the slick and slippery parts of the trail thanks to the gear’s Vibram rubber outsole. Low-profile lugs populate its surface to deliver sufficient surface traction in practically every angle. It has horizontal grooves at the inner forefoot for extra sticking power during ascents.
The Arrowood Riva Mid Waterproof’s comfy yet stabilizing Float-Lite midsole is made of ethylene-vinyl acetate. A shank made of nylon is encased within its thick frame for additional medial support and stability. Teva shoemakers paired it with a polyurethane sockliner (a.k.a footbed) to give hikers more cushioning underfoot.
Full-grain leather with a waterproof finish makes up the majority of the boot’s over-the-ankle upper. Its liner is imbued with eVent, giving the footgear proper defenses against wet elements while keeping the foot fresh on the inside with enough breathability. Its forefoot comes engineered with a rubber cap to shield the toes from bumps.
Its lockdown system uses a round lace made up of synthetic cords bunched together. It comes with combination eyelets, the top two pairs of which are metallic and have an open, easy-access design.
