Supra Vaider Cold Weather History

Founded by a long-time skater named Angel Cabada, Supra debuted in 2006 in partnership with several other pro skaters namely Chad Muska, Jim Greco and Erik Ellington. The company initially manufactured sneakers for skaters but it appealed to many musicians due to its stylish colorways and sleek designs. Some personalities who were spotted rocking a pair of Supras were Jay Z, Steve Aoki, Lil Wayne, and Justin Bieber.

Cabada wanted to create Supra to provide footwear that would go well with his clothing business called KR3W, but more importantly, he was motivated to take the sneaker game up a level. Hence, the name ‘Supra,' which loosely translates to "above and beyond" in Latin.

One of the brand's most popular silhouettes is the Vaider. Released almost the same time as the company, the Vaider comes in high-top and low-top versions and displays a more straightforward design when compared to other Supra models. It combines a vulcanized sole and Supra Foam footbed for the ultimate comfort. One of its offspring is the Supra Vaider Cold Weather, an updated rendition of the original to withstand the elements. It is mainly designed for Supra fans who prefer to wear their favorite pair in the winter.
