Supra Stacks Vulc II Style
The Supra Stacks Vulc II showcases a classic skate design with a more modern and slimmer silhouette. It features skate's simplistic style with various intricate details without sacrificing the kick's smart appeal. Its straightforward style attracted skaters and non-skaters alike, as it is an easy kick to pair with a multitude of ensembles. Match it with jeans and shirt for a classic look or dress it up with chinos and polo shirts for the men and skirts and dresses for the ladies.
This kick's streamlined upper features a dual texture that is constructed from suede and canvas. Its clean one-piece toe design is purposefully utilized for fewer seam blowouts during skateboarding. Its collar and tongue are padded for extra cushioning and comfort, while the lining is made from mesh that provides breathability. The shoe is also equipped with the brand's Suprafoam insole for added in-step protection and comfort. Finally, it all sits on top of a vulcanized sole that offers flexibility and great board feel.
Supra Stacks Vulc II History
Supra started out in 2006 and was founded by long-time skater Angel Cabada with several other pro skaters namely Chad Muska, Jim Greco, and Erik Ellington. The brand was created initially for manufacturing sneakers for skateboarding but it got the attention of famous musicians due to its stylish colorways and sleek designs. Some notable individuals who were spotted rocking a pair of Supras were Jay Z, Steve Aoki, Lil Wayne, and Justin Bieber.
Cabada had an idea to create a footwear brand to provide sneakers that would go well with his clothing business called KR3W, but more importantly, he was motivated to take the sneaker game up a level. Hence, the name ‘Supra,' which loosely translates to "above and beyond" in Latin.
One of the brand's casual-inspired offerings is the Supra Stacks Vulc II, an offspring of the Stacks II. This kick's outsole, as its name suggests, has a vulcanized construction while maintaining a contemporary skate style.
