The round-toed casual sneakers from Supra has central lace-ups and mid-top styling cut at the lower back for a smooth board riding experience. Padded from the opening to the collar and tongue, the shoe aims for a comfy on and off while a removable insole allows wearers to put personalized inserts to suit their arch and comfort needs. The Supra Atom runs true to size with medium D or B width for men and women. Shoe sizes range from US size 4 to 16 for men and 2.5 to 14.5 for women.

What separates Supra sneakers from other skateboarding shoes is that it doesn’t look plain.  Whatever detailing the Supra Atom contains, the sneaker flaunts it in a sophisticated way. Like its oversized tongue and high collar, the Supra Atom sneaker, comes in varied colors to suit your every mood.

As a result, any decent skater would love to pair these shoes with regular shorts or heavily washed jeans and style it with a classic tee and cap, and the result is a perfect board riding look. Another factor that has helped the Supra Atom gain respect among the community is its respectable features like a solid grip and traction in the soles and well-cushioned interiors that would not let you end up like a poser.

The promise of comfort brought by the mid-top styling of the Supra Atom will not be complete without the warmth from the Suprafoam sockliner that makes the entire wearing experience relaxed and comfy. The round-toe silhouette has rubber cupsole design for a light tread, the perforations on the side for added breathability, and the textured pattern sole keeps traction high for this skating-inspired sneaker.

Founded in 2006 by skater Angel Cabada, American footwear brand Supra was established in collaboration with five other professional skateboarders. Cabada is also the man behind KR3W, a company selling skateboard apparel. Professional skateboarders like Erik Ellington, Jim Greco, Chad Muska, Tom Penny, and Dennis Martin were behind the idea of creating a shoe company and a formidable lineup of designs.

As a young brand, the company has been pioneering in skateboarding shoe designs but with the use of more flamboyant colors and styles. Compared to the often minimalist designs of skateboarding footwear manufacturers, Supra has sometimes been producing more robust and more eye-catching designs for skating with the same enhanced grip but with more flair and style.

The company name Supra came from the Latin word which means “above, and all” symbolizing the often superfluous silhouettes of high-tops and low-tops skate sneakers with vulcanized soles that appeal to the street-style loving skaters.

Since its inception, the company had the likes of Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, Bow Wow, Travis McCoy, Justin Timberlake, and Justin Bieber gravitating towards the brand's designs. Over the past decade, the Supra company has had a massive following among the hip-hop loving culture as well as the skating community.

The Supra Atom was among its first designs that come as a mixture between the popular Skytop III and IV sneakers, First released in grey nubuck with turquoise hits while another colorway is black leather with suede and white accents. The round-toe casual sneaker in mid-top styling has a reinforced collar and padded tongue and collar for easy entry and exit.

  • A plastic inlay near the top eye allows for extended lacing support.
  • The perforated side panels of the Supra Atom add style and breathability to this skating shoe.
  • The shoe has a removable insole for those wanting to replace them with orthotic inserts.
  • The low-cut collar with padded ankle support provides protection and stability to the footwear.
  • Supra branding details at the back heel, tongue, and insoles provide the needed accent to the Atom.
