The Sperry Captain’s Slip On Pride sneaker runs in men’s sizing that ranges from US 4 to 15 in Medium width. As one of the many versions of the Sperry Captain’s Slip On shoe, it follows the original model’s low-top, slip-on construction which offers flexibility and easy on and off wearing. It also features elastic side goring as with most slip-on shoes. The full-length contoured footbed is removable.

This special Pride edition maintained the versatile and classic look of the original Sperry Captain’s Slip On sneakers while incorporating a Pride-themed aesthetic. The upper took inspiration from the original design from 1935 by keeping everything minimal and simple. It features a white canvas material that is accentuated by a Pride-themed, rainbow-colored side goring.

While the Sperry Captain’s Slip On Pride Sneaker mimics that signature feature of its core model, it flaunts added design accents that make it a standout rendition of the classic Sperry shoe. Function-wise, it boasts the brand’s signature molded Wave-Siping technology for optimum traction on both wet and dry condition which can also be observed on the original Sperry Captain’s Slip-On shoes.

The primary difference of this rendition from the main model focuses on the shoe's visual appeal. It features a plain white canvas upper that highlights the rainbow design accent on the side goring – a nod to the Pride month celebration.

Sperry Top-Sider, otherwise known as Sperry, is an American brand popularly known for boat shoes. It was founded by sailor and innovator Paul A. Sperry in 1935. One of the earliest models from the brand is the Captain’s CVO (Circular Vamp Oxford), a low-top canvas sneaker designed with a non-slip rubber sole with a wave siping pattern for superior grip on dry and wet surfaces.

The Sperry Captain’s CVO recently got a slip-on version called officially as the Sperry Captain’s Slip-On. Like the Captain’s CVO, the slip-on version has a low-top construction and canvas upper which allows a flexible, comfortable, and convenient wearing without compromising style.

As with the Sperry Captain’s CVO and other Sperry sneakers, the Sperry Captain’s Slip-On has received multiple colorways and variations with the likes of Sperry Captain’s Slip-On Perforated, Sperry Captain's Slip On Prep Flags Sneaker, and the Sperry Captain’s Slip On Pride Sneaker among others.

The Sperry Captain’s Slip On Pride Sneaker is a special Pride-themed version of the updated 1935 design of the classic CVO. It features a plain white canvas upper accentuated with rainbow-colored side gorings that symbolizes the Pride movement. Each pair retails for $60.

  • Sperry branding is seen on the heel.
  • The branding on the insole matches the rainbow theme accent of the elastic side goring.
