Updates to Skechers Ultra Flex - First Take

  • The Skechers Ultra Flex - First Take is versatile footwear created for women seeking for a fashionable workout companion. It is also developed to be used as a comfortable walking shoe. It is made of lightweight materials such as the Skech Knit Mesh that offers ventilation and pliability to keep the wearer going throughout the day.
  • The trainer utilizes the Ultra Flex cushioning platform for its midsole. Together with the Air Cooled Memory Foam, the two elements deliver a comfortable footbed that attenuates shock and adds bounce to each step. The midsole also functions as the outsole and has numerous flex grooves for better traction and flexibility.

Skechers Ultra Flex - First Take size and fit

The Skechers Ultra Flex - First Take comes in women's US sizes 5 to 11, including half sizes. It is only available in a B - Medium width profile. The upper uses a knitted material that is stretchable and non-constricting, giving the feet the freedom to expand and the toes to splay during workouts.

Outsole

A single unit of foam cushioning is used for both the outsole and the midsole of the Skechers Ultra Flex - First Take. This compound is engineered to be durable in order to withstand the abrasions of training on rough surfaces. The bottom of the unit is riddled with flex grooves that facilitate full-ground contact and natural foot movements.

Midsole

The Skechers Ultra Flex - First Take employs the Ultra Flex midsole. This full-length cushioning platform is crafted to absorb impact and reduce the shock that travels up the lower extremities. It also has a high energy return that readies the foot for the next step.

Inside is the Air Cooled Memory Foam insole. This component heightens the comfort by conforming to the shape of the underfoot for maximum coverage and support. It also helps in keeping the temperature inside the unit down by allowing air to circulate properly.

Upper

Designed to deliver support and flexibility, the upper of the Skechers Ultra Flex - First Take is made of the Skech Knit Mesh. This fabric features stitching accents that integrate ventilating panels for aeration. There are also stretch panels that accommodate different foot shapes and movements.

The slip-on fabrication is complemented by the stretchy collar, allowing for a quick on and off action. At the back, there is an additional material that is lightly padded to prevent the Achilles from chafing.
