The Skechers Overhaul - Debbir is constructed to be a lightweight and flexible workout and walking shoe. Its upper is made of the Skech Knit Mesh which offers support and breathability. The full-length cushioning serves as both the midsole and outsole. It is crafted to soften foot landings to prevent pain and discomfort.

Like most Skechers shoes, the Overhaul - Debbir only uses a single piece of cushioning for its outsole and midsole. The compound is designed to be hard-wearing to endure working out on rough surfaces. Flex grooves are present throughout the underside to promote the natural foot flexion. They also intensify the traction of the outsole, enabling it to grip various types of surfaces. It extends to the front of the trainer and protects the toes against bumps and abrasion.

The midsole of the shoe is manufactured with a cushiony material that is engineered to attenuate shock, protecting the foot and the joints. It is also built to be lightweight, so it doesn’t weigh the wearer down.

The midsole is raised in some areas. At the forefoot, it adds support during side-to-side movements. At the back, it cups the heel to hold the rearfoot steady during dynamic movements.

Inside the trainer is the Air Cooled Memory Foam insole. This component amplifies the shock absorption property of the midsole. It conforms to the shape of the underfoot for maximum coverage and also lets air circulate inside.

An almost one-piece Skech Knit Mesh makes up the upper of the Skechers Overhaul - Debbir. A different colored knitting material is used as stitching accents to enhance the style of the footwear. A soft cloth lines the inside of the upper to deliver a cozy feel.

The trainer features woven-in stabilizing panels at the quarter to increase the lateral support of the upper. It also has cooling knit panels at the forefoot to keep the foot chamber well-ventilated.

The shoe uses a traditional lacing system for fit adjustment. The eyelets are embroidered to ensure that the holes won’t get ruined because of regular lace adjustments. There’s also a single slot on top of the tongue to stop it from moving out of place during training.

The collar and the tongue are both padded to provide the wearer with a comfortable ride. The tongue hinders the laces from irritating the instep. As for the collar, it locks the heel down and averts chafing.
