Updates to Skechers GOwalk Lite - Mar Vista

  • The Skechers GOwalk Lite - Mar Vista is lightweight walking footwear inspired by boat shoes. The upper is made of Perform-Tex, a leather-textured fabric, with moc toe detailing which complements the trainer’s top-sider look.
  • The 5GEN foam technology serves both as the midsole and the outsole of this model. The compound is crafted to absorb shock and provide traction on various surfaces.
  • Inside the shoe is the Goga Max insole. It is designed to be responsive and amplifies shock attenuation to keep the foot comfortable. It is lined with bamboo fibers that keep the inside fresh and odor-free.

Skechers GOwalk Lite - Mar Vista size and fit

Made to accommodate the unique shape and dynamics of the female foot, the Skechers GOwalk Lite - Mar Vista is only available in US women’s sizes 5 to 12. For the width, it is only available in a B - Medium profile. The three-eyed lace-up closure allows users to adjust the fit. As for the upper material, the leather-textured fabric locks the foot down while also allowing it to expand naturally.

Outsole

The outsole of the Skechers GOwalk Lite - Mar Vista is the continuation of the midsole. This foam technology is built to be durable to endure abrasions of walking on pavements. The tread pattern features a flexible parametric design to deliver a responsive experience and enhanced traction on various types of surfaces.

Midsole

The Skechers GOwalk Lite - Mar Vista employs the brand’s 5GEN midsole technology. This proprietary foam cushioning is engineered to be lightweight and responsive to keep the foot comfortable during extended periods of walking.

Inside is the Goga Max insole which features a bamboo fiber coating that prevents odor formation and keeps sweat at bay. It is fashioned to be as comfortable as the brand’s Memory Foam technology but the Goga Max offers support and does not allow the foot to sink, so it is more springy and responsive.

Upper

This walking trainer sports a boat shoe style. It utilizes the brand’s Perform-Tex upper which is a smooth, leather-textured fabric developed to support the foot. It has a moc toe detailing at the front with further stitching accents at the quarter and the heel sections. A soft fabric covers the inside walls to deliver a great in-shoe feel.

The midfoot is adorned with a three-eye lace-up structure that is often seen in boat shoes. It affords users the ability to adjust the fit of the upper for a comfortable locked down feel.

The thin tongue protects the instep against the pressure created by the laces. The lightly padded collar is lined with soft fabric that prevents chafing.
