Profile of the Skechers GOwalk Lite - Isla

The Skechers GOwalk Lite - Isla is a boat-style walking shoe crafted for women. It has a slip-on design with fixed stretchy laces on the front panel for an easy on-and-off action.

Like other models in the Skechers’ GOwalk Lite series, it features a single-unit sole to keep the footwear as lightweight and flexible as it’s physically possible. It uses the proprietary 5GEN sole for responsive support and comfort.

Outsole

The shoe’s midsole also serves as its outsole. However, its bottom part sports a wickerwork-like design to render a smooth heel-to-toe transition. It makes the platform flexible and responsive to the walking movement of the foot.

Midsole

The foot receives support and cushioning from the full-length 5GEN compound. Even though it is created to be lightweight, it has a bouncy characteristic to provide springiness and absorb shock throughout the walk.

The Goga Max insole is added on top of the midsole under the foot. It is meant to add padding as well as keeping the foot chamber aerated through its pores.

Upper

The GOwalk Lite - Isla from Skechers employs a slip-on construction to allow for an effortless on-and-off action. Its style is inspired by boat shoes, featuring a moc toe front, a three-eye lacing, and a low-cut collar.

A soft jersey knit fabric with a heathered finish makes up the primary upper material of the shoe. Inside, the comfort is enhanced by a smooth fabric lining as well as a light padding in the collar.
